ECCE Scheme Sept 12 - June 13

FREE pre-school places

The ECCE Scheme from Sept 2012 - June 2013 is a programme designed to give children access to a FREE pre-school year of appropriate programme-based activities in the year before they start primary school.

Children will receive pre-school year sessions for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, over 38 weeks (September to June) from 9.15am to 12.15pm daily FREE

To be eligible to participate in the ECCE Programme

Children who are eligible for entry to the scheme must have birth dates from 2nd February 2008 to 30th June 2009. The Scheme for 2012 will commence on the 3rd of September 2012.

Teachers

All Pre-School room leaders for the ECCE scheme must hold the FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Childcare, or have this award completed by September 2012. Funbugs Childcare boasts a FETAC Level 5 holder in our ECCE Montessori classroom, as well as being a fully qualified Montessori teacher. Our second teacher in the room is also a fully qualified Montessori teacher.

ECCE / School Holidays

Children attending are funded for school terms only - September 2012 - June 2013. Calander will be provided in September 2012.

Optional Extras

Optional extras are available to parents for additional services. These options do not affect the FREE sessional care we provide from 9.30am to 12.30pm daily. However, if you choose these optional extras, additional fees will apply.
