ECCE Scheme Sept 19 - June 20

FREE pre-school places

The ECCE Scheme from Sept 2019 - June 2020 is a programme designed to give children access to a FREE pre-school year of appropriate programme-based activities in the year before they start primary school.

Children will receive pre-school year sessions for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, over 38 weeks (September to June) from 9.00am to 12.00 pm daily FREE

To be eligible to participate in the ECCE Programme

Children who are eligible for entry to the scheme must be 2 years and 8 months of age before September 2019. The Scheme for 2019 will commence Monday 2nd Sept at 9.00am.

Teachers

All Pre-School room leaders for the ECCE scheme must hold the minimum of a FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Childcare, or have this award completed by September.

Funbugs Childcare boasts both FETAC Level 7 & Fetac Level 8 Pre-School teachers in each of our 3 ECCE classrooms. We also have fully qualified Montessori teachers on our team. Our second teachers in our ECCE rooms are also fully qualified holding Fetac level 5 & level 6 awards.

ECCE / School Holidays

Children attending are funded for school terms only - September 2019 - June 2020. Calander will be provided in September 2019.

Optional Extras

Optional extras are available to parents for additional services. These options do not affect the FREE sessional care we provide from 9.00am to 12.00pm daily. However, if you choose these optional extras, additional fees will apply.
